CAMPUS

STUDENT LIFE INFORMATION

Training for Christian service at Himachal Bible College & Seminary involves far more than gaining theological or practical training. Our emphasis on developing students with spiritual maturity, moral integrity, academic excellence and committed service makes HBCS very special.

A Multi-cultural Community

HBCS is a melting pot of cultures where people of all communities work together to glorify God. At any given point of time, people from different parts of India and other countries may be found on the campus.

Prayer & Intercession

Personal and corporate prayer is greatly emphasized at HBCS as we develop a deeper personal relationship with the Lord. Students from each dorm are required to attend morning and evening devotions at 6:30 am and 6:30 pm respectively each day. Whole-night prayer, special seminar and fasting prayer service are also arranged for the students’ community.

Accountability Groups

The students are divided into accountability groups, each with a faculty or staff in-charge. This group meets weekly on Fridays where students are free to share their struggles, challenges and growth areas.

Chapel Service

Chapel services are essential time on campus each day, as we come together for worship as a community of believers through singing and praising God, and by hearing God’s Word from guest speakers, faculty and students. All students are required to attend every chapel service.

Library & Computer Lab

Books are the best companions. Therefore, we encourage our students to develop their reading habits and grow their love for books. For this reason special care has been given to provide library facility for students.

Since we are living in the information age, we want our students to be well equipped to meet the changes of this technology revolution. For this reason we have provided a computer lab. Students are given adequate opportunity to practice, learn and be acquainted with the latest developments in the field of information technology.
